He gets excited about watching girls start in the program and then go on to play High School basketball at Mercy or other local High Schools. He has coached several players that have advanced to play in the college ranks.

Donnie noted he has been blessed with some really great players at St. Gabriel and they have enabled him to be part of multiple Basketball and Softball City Championships in the Catholic School Athletic Association (CSAA). He hopes to add another this coming season.

Donnie’s philosophy for coaching is to develop players to get to their next level and not only teach the sport, but help them shape themselves into leaders and great young ladies. His goal is to prepare each girl in all positions to make them more valuable to their team. He demands respect and a high level of work ethic from his players.  He truly has a passion for teaching the game he loves.
